Located in the beautiful and lush jungle of Tulum, Mexico, Sanctum Ananda should feel like a home away from home. A calm and strong design language eliminates distractions, while the tranquil architecture caters to the visitor’s needs and stuns the senses, allowing one to take ownership of the space. The curated cabins breathe Scandinavian minimalism, while still being rooted in the local materiality – two qualities that come together due to the softness and tactility of the local materials that fit the Scandinavian design language astoundingly well. Having the Tulum life right around the corner from the jungle sanctuary allows for the cabins to be designed with just the absolute essentials, without ever feeling like something is missing.
