Designed for Dan Bakstudio in Varberg, Sweden, the bespoke café tables extend the bakery’s material language at the scale of furniture.
Made entirely in solid Douglas fir, the tables are conceived as continuations of the interior’s warm and tactile palette. Their square tabletops rest on gently inward-sloping, cross-shaped central supports, giving each piece a clear structural logic and a sense of visual lightness.
The construction balances solidity with delicacy. While the thick timber surfaces bring weight and presence, the angled base and refined detailing soften the overall expression, allowing the tables to sit naturally within the open bakery landscape.
