Dan Bakstudio

Conceived as an open and atmospheric bakery in the coastal town of Varberg, Sweden, Dan Bakstudio reimagines the traditional bakery as a space where craftsmanship becomes part of the sensory experience. Rooted in the beauty of everyday rituals, it unfolds as a warm and immersive environment where materiality, movement, and atmosphere come together in harmony.

Polène Flagship Store

Rather than a conventional retail interior, the Polène Flagship Store is conceived as an environment to be felt as much as seen – a place where material, light, and proportion come together to create a calm, tactile landscape that invites visitors to slow down, engage the senses, and experience the enduring relationship between form, hand, and material.

Vinhuset

Set within the gentle contours of the Swedish landscape, the transformation of Vinhuset marks the next chapter in our ongoing collaboration with Ästad Vingård – an estate where nature, craft, and hospitality intertwine.

1 Hotel Copenhagen

On the shore of Øresund in Denmark, Strandgården stands as a quiet witness to nearly two centuries of life by the sea. Built in 1842 and carrying the traces of generations within its walls, the house has been gently transformed, uniting two dwellings into one cohesive home.

Audo House

In Copenhagen’s evolving Nordhavn district, Audo House redefines how we live, work, and connect. The historic 1918 building has been carefully transformed into a fluid and welcoming destination – uniting café, restaurant, concept shop, event spaces and exclusive residences under one roof.

Guest House No. 16

Amid the whispering pines of Northern Zealand, Denmark, the intimate guest house No. 16 stands as a serene coastal refuge. The 1930s Italian inspired villa has been thoroughly restored and gently reimagined, honouring its layered past while unfolding a new and contemplative identity.

Strandgården

Galleri Sonja

On the northern tip of Bornholm, in the small coastal town of Allinge, lies Galleri Sonja – a café, shop, and gallery shaped by the island’s rugged coastline and deeply rooted craft traditions. The interior unfolds as a composition of subtle contrasts; light and shadow, smooth and textured, refined, and raw. 

Kent Avenue Penthouse

Nestled along the Brooklyn Waterfront, overlooking the East River and Manhattan Skyline, the Kent Avenue penthouse apartment is one of its kind; New York’s industrial vibe meets soft minimalism and tactile materials in this urban retreat above the vibrating city.

Holmen Abode

Nestled within a historic motor torpedo boat hall, Holmen Abode in Copenhagen, Denmark, beautifully reimagines this architectural gem from the 90’s with timeless simplicity and modern elegance.

Drawing inspiration from the elegance of Nordic simplicity, the timeless traditions of Japanese design, and the tropical allure of resort living, this architectural gem emerges as a unique hybrid – a harmonious blend of distinct influences that converge seamlessly within its walls.

Bellustar Penthouses

The 5-room luxury penthouse at the new BELLUSTAR TOKYO, A Pan Pacific Hotel at the Tokyu Kabukicho Tower, is the coming together of two unique architecture studios and their philosophies; the honest design of Keiji Ashizawa Design and the soft minimalism of Norm Architects. Furnished by Karimoku Furniture Inc., guests are enveloped in a world of captivating beauty as the stress of the world 200 meters below melts away. The unbroken views all the way to Mount Fuji, while striking, come second to the view and calming spirit of the space itself.

Elegantly set in the beautiful East Anglian landscape, on the border of a working farm in Suffolk, the Pavilion House is a real inside-out construction. The shapes and materials of the interior all carry a certain tranquillity and simplicity, while every room offers a different glimpse of the outside. There is a certain humility within the architecture, acknowledging that the big-ticket item in the setting is indeed the countryside; it doesn’t try to compete with it, but frames it instead.

With its concept store in the heart of central Copenhagen, Danish high-end shoe brand Notabene opens its doors to a world of shoemaking. Norm Architects has completely redesigned the Notabene retail experience and created a hub where all things surrounding shoe design and shoe care are unified in a big industrial space comprising retail, shoeshine bar and creative lab.

Denthology+

Moving away from the typical institutional look and feel of a dental clinic, Dentology+ is quiet, calm, and warm. The ambition has been to redefine and reshape the dental experience and at the core of that is a sensibility, which acknowledges the importance of the way materials and natural light affect our well-being.

Gjøvik

Norm Architects has completed the interior refurbishment of a private residence north of Copenhagen, marrying country house charm and contemporary sophistication.

Just north of the bustling city center of Copenhagen, we carried out a full renovation of a private family home overlooking the water. With a focus on bringing out the house’s inherent modernist qualities and putting it on display, the home is now a calm refuge of clean lines and natural materials to retreat to in a busy everyday life.
