Conceived and crafted by Atelier Plateau, Nomadic Dialogues explores the shifting relationship between body, material, and landscape through sculptural compositions of leather and driftwood.
Rooted in a sensory and bodily connection to nature, the works bring together time-worn driftwood and leather as a nomadic material – adaptable, enduring, and deeply tied to human history. Quiet structures emerge, balancing function and poetry, inviting sitting, resting, and inhabitation.
Atelier Plateau reinterprets this heritage through TERRA® leather, co-developed by Norm Architects and Sørensen Leather. Selected for its softness, durability, and sensorial depth, the leather’s muted, nature-inspired tones and velvety surface respond gently to the organic character of the wood, developing a natural patina over time.
Where art, design, and architecture meet, Nomadic Dialogues becomes a renewed conversation between body and nature – shaped by craft, care, and material presence.
