Hardware, a ubiquitous feature of the home, holds a repetitive and deeply ingrained presence in daily life, reflecting a fundamental aspect of human interaction with the built environment.
In the REPETITIONS exhibition at the Chevron showroom, BRANDT Collective unveiled three new collections – Leaf, Terrace, and Button – designed by Norm Architects. Through a spatial arrangement of hardware and objects showcased on bespoke furniture, the exhibition elevated the ordinary to the extraordinary, highlighting the interplay between form, materiality, and spatial context.
Staged by Christian M. Andersen in collaboration with Norm Architects, the exhibition’s serial configurations of everyday objects invited visitors to reflect on the aesthetic, functional, and symbolic dimensions of the mundane, encouraging a deeper appreciation for the repetitive elements that shape our spaces.
